The Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander is an aircraft that serves as both a British light utility and a regional airliner. Originally designed and produced by Britten-Norman in the United Kingdom, it remains in production to this day and is among the top-selling commercial aircraft types in Europe. Despite being designed in the 1960s, over 750 Islanders are still being used by commercial operators globally, with more than 30 military aviation operators also utilizing the aircraft for light transport purposes.
