Managing Director Bio
Shaun Quigley is the co-founder and sole owner of Volantair Air Charter, a premier charter company that has earned a reputation for exceptional service and strong partnerships under his leadership. With over 40 years of experience in the aviation industry, Shaun has built a career that has taken him across the globe.
Shaun’s passion for aviation began in the Royal Air Force in the United Kingdom, where he spent a decade honing his skills, serving in the United Kingdom, Cyprus, and the Falkland Islands. He then spent eight years as an instructor with the Royal Saudi Air Force in Jeddah, where he completed a commercial Graduate Course in Air Transportation Management with the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne.
After migrating to Australia in 2001, Shaun continued to progress his career in the aviation sector, specialising in Air Charter. He spent twelve years as a Director and partner of a charter brokerage company based in Cairns, where he organised high-profile charters for clients, including high net-worth individuals, touring pop stars, and even life-saving organ transplant flights.
In 2019, Shaun co-founded Volantair Air Charter, which has since grown significantly under his leadership. As a proud member of The Air Charter Association in London, the company has won major charter work, including an eighteen-month contract to supply A320 aircraft on charter from Malaysia to Laos.
Shaun’s commitment to excellence is reflected in his position as an Associate Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society. He has also earned a reputation for exceptional service and strong partnerships with suppliers in the industry.
